I'm new to Catia V.  Can anyone help me with paste function.  I'm trying to paste a Body into another file.   I keep getting the error "Pasting an ordered body under a mechanical body is forbidden. 
 
How do I change an ordered body to a mechanical and vise versa?
 
Or how to I start with a file as a mechanical body?

If you are referring to convert 1 in into 25.4mm inside of NX. All you need to do is type 1in or 25mm for your parameter. Just keep in mind that when you do so you are actually creating a formula. You would need to convert the Autocad file to an NX file.  Then it can be used as a template. 
To use a file for a drawing template.
Select Preferences Palettes and create a new template.
The empty pallet is displayed on the resource bar.
In the empty palette right click and select new entry - and select the template you want for example sheet template.  Then select the file you want as the template.  You can then drag and drop the template on to you current NX session to add the drawing border.

Hi,
I am facing a problem in Pro-e wildfire3. I have a blank which become a cup sahpe model after two pressing operations(no material removed). But it's volume get changed. I want constant volume. currantly I am doing it manualy. So please suggest me any solution  so that I can keep the volume constant even after two pressing operations

Hi,

I have an issue in Catia when trying to combine a force or pressure load with atemp field.
I have no problems running either analysis separately, but when combined theobject expands infinitely! I know this shouldn’t be the output result, but I can’tfigure out why it’s doing it!

Any help anyone can offer would be very helpful.
