Q: How do I start my training?

A: Once you have purchased your i GET IT software bundle, please log into i GET IT using the information that was provided via email on your receipt. When you log in, you will automatically be directed to your Learning Path.
  1. When in the Learning Path, click on the Edit tab and navigate to the desired software version/type and click on the gray arrow to drop down the courses in each.
  2. When you find your desired course, please click on the course and DRAG & DROP it into your Learning Path, and click Save.
  3. When you are ready to begin the course/assessment, go back to the View tab click on the course/assessment and click the Start button.

Q: How do I edit my Learning Path?

A:

Q: Why aren't my courses showing in my Learning Path?

A: You will need to add the courses into your Learning Path. To add the courses:

Q: What is the Learning Path?

A: The Learning Path is the tool i GET IT members use to access their courses, track progress and view their results. The Learning Path is based on the Adobe Flex technology therefore requires Adobe Flash plug-in to be installed.

Q: Why can I not view my Learning Path, a black box appears instead?

A: The Learning Path requires users to have Adobe Flash version 8.0 or higher. To download the Flash Player, go to: http://www.adobe.com .

Q: How do I download part files for the course?

A: Please follow the directions below to download your part files.
  1. First log into igetit at http://www.myigetit.com .
  2. Click on MY IGETIT > click on MY LEARNING PATH.
  3. Choose the course by selecting it, and then choose Start from the Learning Path menu bar.
  4. Click on the Download Part Files icon in the menu bar at the top of the course window.

Q: I can't see the images within the courses or I receive an access-denied error message.

A: If you are receiving an ACL error or Access Denied error, it could be a trusted site or firewall issue with Internet Explorer, to correct this issue:
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on Tools | Internet Options
  3. Choose Security Tab | Click the Trusted Sites selection
  4. Choose the Sites button and add http://content.myigetit.com. (may need to uncheck the require https checkbox)
  5. You may want to also add *.myigetit.com as well
  6. Another option: request that your IT staff allow http://content.myigetit.com to their Proxy Server and add it to the ACL list for a firewall.

Q: Why does the button say Learning Path next to the bundle price in the Catalog?

A: You already have access to those courses, which could mean you or the team admin purchased the course bundle. By clicking the Learning Path button you will enter the Learning Path to start your courses.

Q: Why can't I purchase an individual course?

A: We offer bundle course purchases but not individual courses at this time.

Q: How long is my subscription good for?

A: One full year with unlimited access to your purchased training courses and social network.

Q: Does my training come in any other format than online access?

A: i GET IT is an online training portal, we do not offer downloads, DVD's, CD's etc with the igetit Professional accounts.

A: If you are not an i GET IT member, you can sign up for a free i GET IT Engineer account for a Test Drive of i GET IT or purchase your desired training courses from the Catalog by going to http://www.myigetit.com choosing CATALOG from the top menu. If you are a member, click on the Forgot Password button under the login option at http://www.myigetit.com to have your user information emailed to you.

Q: What's the difference between i GET IT Engineer and i GET IT Professional?

A: An i GET IT Professional is one year subscribed member to their purchased training courses/certificates as well as social network access. An i GET IT Engineer is a free social network member account with access to sample courses and social network access.

Q: How do I purchase an i GET IT Team account?

A: When you're in the Catalog and you Check Out to purchase your shopping cart contents, there is an option to enter multiple users. If you don't have all of the user's information, you may proceed with the purchase and create the additional usernames by submitting a Support Ticket through the Support Tab. A Support representative will assist you with creating the team user accounts after the purchase.
