CATIA V5 R18 - 304 Advanced Surfacing
Overview
This course continues where 204 - Intermediate Surfacing left off and teaches users how to create and analyze complex surfaces using the CATIA V5 Generative Shape Design workbench. (For some licenses, many of these commands will be found in the Wireframe and Surfacing Design workbench instead.) Users will learn valuable tools to analyze surface models to verify their quality. Key topics include: connect checker, connect curve, draft analysis, surfacic curvature analysis, porcupine analysis, healing elements, sweep (explicit, line, circle, conic, adaptive), blend surfaces, and powercopies.
Intended Audience
Designers, Design Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers who need to understand how to effectively analyze and use surfacing modeling for complex shapes and features.
Prerequisites
204 - Intermediate Surfacing or equivalent knowledge.
