Overview:
This course is designed to teach users how to create sheet metal parts in the R17 Sheet Metal application. Students will learn how to integrate sheet metal concepts, standards, and techniques into dynamic sheet metal projects. Key topics include: sheet metal parameters, walls, extrusions, hopper, hem, flange, bends, conical bend, fold and unfold, cut out, holes, corners, corner relief, circular pattern, rectangular pattern, chamfer, flanged hole, bead, stamp, bridge, louver, punch and die, DXF, and drawings.

Prerequisites:
Basic CATIA Modeling experience required, including the use of Sketcher. Sheet metal design experience helpful but not required.

Intended Audience:
All levels of sheet metal designers and manufacturing engineers with CATIA experience
